Intro to Wheel Throwing with Diane -8 week

This 8-week wheel-throwing is perfect for students with no experience or who are returning to the wheel after an intermission. Students who complete this course will meet the requirements for joining the studio membership program. Includes 25 lbs of clay and firing/glazing up to 7 pots. Wednesdays beginning August 28th 9 AM-11:00 AM. Ages 18 and up. Reservations are required. 6 student maximum. Reserve by emailing erika@sweetartemporium for a link to pay. $300

Wilkin is a Central Virginia artist/
educator who works with a variety
of media – ceramics, printmaking,
pastels, and often mixed media.
Wilkin spent 24 years in PA as a
secondary art educator, and served
the profession both inside and
outside the classroom – as
President of PAEA and as a
Regional Vice President for the
National Art Education Association
(NAEA), representing 13 states. She returns to Virginia (a
graduate of the University of Virginia) and continues to focus on
creating a body of work investigating the ever changing world
around us and learning from others.
